Climbing is the first sport activity appeared on Active Road because it is the first passion of the founder of this association. Sebastien Batel is on the initiative of Active Road but also a great passion for climbing and professional State Certificate full-time. He starts to discover the creeks with Rock climbing and with people from all over France. Now coach in two clubs in the region, he gives Rock Climbing courses to associations, schools and businesses.

Today Active Road and best régional guides, take you in the Calanques of Marseille, Cassis and La Ciotat as in the fabulous Gorges du Verdon. Courses are also organized abroad (Spain, Greece ...) during the holidays and summer time.
